Leslie Levi is an award-winning virtual reality director and performer based in Paris. A violinist, violist, and artistic director, she curates and creates transdisciplinary collaborations linking virtuoso artists and new technologies.

Levi is graduate of the Paris Conservatory (BA–Music) and Boston University (Master of Music–Violin Performance). As a Fulbright scholar, she studied in the United States from 2007-2010, culminating in Artist Diploma studies at Boston University. She won the Grand Prize in the Bach Soloists competition in Boston in 2008 and was a semi-finalist in the Prague Spring International Competition in 2010, playing a recital at the Prague City Hall.

An artist of varied talents, Levi collaborates regularly with a large number of international musicians in both the classical and popular spheres. She has performed as a soloist and in chamber ensembles in concerts with Roberto Alagna, Srumae, Indila, Florent Pagny, and MC Solaar. She is also regularly invited to play with prestigious orchestras like the Paris Opera, the Paris Chamber Orchestra, and the Radio France Philharmonic, where she has played under the batons of Daniel Harding, Pierre Boulez, Myung Whun Chung, and Mikko Frank, among others. Her performance engagements have taken her across all of Europe and to the United States, Africa, Asia, and South America.

Her interest in transdisciplinary collaborations arose from working at the celebrated Cabaret de Lido for the Paris Merveilles revue in 2015. Under the direction of Franco Dragone, Levi was a featured violin soloist for the world premiere of this score and worked closely on the scene. A continuing passion for working with new media led her to found Concert.Digital 360-VR in October 2016. Concert.Digital provides a production platform that unites artists and engineers with other creative minds to create experimental art that captures music, danse, and vibrant spectacle in virtual reality.

Levi won the award for Best VR Narrative from the Venice Fine Arts Film Festival in May 2018 for Leggenda 360, the  film she produced and directed. Leggenda is internationally distributed by MK2  and was an official selection for many festivals worldwide: Cannes Next VR in May 2017, Dubai, IFF Sao Paulo Brazil, Dubaï Festival  United Arab Emirates, Tampere Festival 2018 Norway, Fine Arts Film Festival 2018 California, Transylvania International Film Festival 2018 Rumania, ShorTS Trieste FF 2018 Italy.

She is currently engaged in several virtual reality projects with institutions like Radio France, the Paris Observatory and develops currently the Xheart Project.
